Hi Stephen,
On my system (SuSE 7.0), dos2unix is aliased to "recode ibmpc..lat1". The recode command is part of the recode-3.5-172 rpm (at least in my version). It lives in /usr/bin/recode.
Good Luck,

I have a need to remove the line feed from a dos text file so that I can use it in Linux. According to the SuSE knowledge database the appropriate command is dos2unix filename. Unfortunately the OS tells me 'command not found'
What am I missing? Thanks in advance
