download the lame-3.89-1.rpm and install it, stick the CD that you want to rip a song from, open Konqueror, and in the left hand navigation bar, click on services, then it will expand the tree open the MP3 folder and drag the song(s) you wish to rip to your /home or wherever you want the file to reside.

Hi,

Krabber is included in the CDs AFAICT, and you only need bladeenc in addition to encode mp3s then (apart from a few packages included in SuSE disks). Bladeenc I had to compile from source which I had to dl somewhere else (I might try finding the link if you want to know it)

Now, you can also use konqueror; goto services, audio cd browser, it gets you (afaik) wavs or ogg files from your CDs.

Was that what you were missing?
