Hi. All it says is 'no such device /dev/video0' and 'no framegrabber available' with motv and xawtv.
Any ideas?
Thanks, Steve

Hi scc,
just use the module mod_quickcam.o and your usb webcam will run well.
the module is located in "/lib/modules/2.4.7-4GB/kernel/drivers/usb" as it is an usb model.
To lauch: gandalf@suse:#modprobe mod_quickcam
Then lauch a program like xawtv to see yourself.

Hi Everyone.
The 7.3 update tells me that it supports webcams. I can find no documentation on how to do this. Yast seems to be talking about parallel port models. Could someone point me in the right direction?
Having hacked at the qce-0.40 having to play around with version.h etc. I still have no picture. Can't SuSE put the headers in the right place to start with? Or am I missing something.
Thanks, Steve
