This is a really bad solution, but I think it works: create a new desktop icon (right mouse button > Create New > Link to application) then copy from /home/xyz/KDesktop to /etc/opt/kde2/share/applnk/SuSE/Internet I think the correct method is to use K-menu > Configure panel > menu editor (as root?) but it didn't work for me (the entry appears different in the menu editor, but that's all). I recompiled timidity++ with gtk support and tried to replace the menu entry. Eventually I managed with something like the method above. Better suggestions? JDL Bob B wrote
