See if the setting "KDE Control Center>Style>Apply fonts and colors to
non-KDE apps" is set and try to uncheck the box, and see if it helps. You
might need to logout/login from KDE first.

I just downloaded and installed, without any problems, KDE 2.2.2.for SuSE 7.1.
There seems to be a font problem, however. If I open a default app from the task bar the fonts for the pulldown menus are fine. However, I added NEdit to the task bar using the menu editor and when it opens all of the pulldown menus are in what appears to be Kanji, or some sort of oriental script. One the other hand, FileRunner, started in the same manner has normal script.
When I open the Package Manager the 'Building Package Window' at the bottom of the window has a blue bar, but there is no package list in the display window.
What's going on? What's the solution?
Thanks in advance. -- Avi Schwartz avi@CFFtechnologies.com
