Perhaps you mean that you need the IP address of the server?  If so . . .
nickw@gizmo:/mnt/archive/suse > nslookup ftp.suse.com
Server:  cypher.turbonet.com
Address:  207.13.199.1

Name:    ftp.suse.com
Address:  202.58.118.12

SuSE 7.3 is in pub/suse/i386/7.3, so the complete address would be something like
ftp://202.58.118.12/pub/suse/i386/7.3 . . . I've never done a SuSE ftp install, so I'm not sure exactly what it expects, but this should give you something to work with.
