Sorry Volker,

I installed from Borland CD, not SuSE onto 7.3. I saw the open edition
on the SuSE CD's, but had already purchased the CD from Insight. If you
download the tar file from Borland, it should install and then you
should be able to follow the instructions or at least decide where you
should set what to get kylix to run. It is really a neat program, but
then I come from Delphi 1->4->5->kylix.
