Eddie,
I think all you may have to do is change the device to the correct name
in your Control Center or make sure that the device in your /dev/ has
the right permissions. As both my drives are setup with the ide-scsi I
am using /dev/cdrom in the AudioIO slave setup in CC. But I also have
a link from scd1 to cdrom in my setup, this was done by issuing the
command in a shell/console window of : ln -sf /dev/scd1 /dev/cdrom
Then check the permissions to be sure cdrom is root owner & disk group
with RW of both owner & group. I think that will take care of your
problem. Let me know if I can be of further help.
