Hi all!
I have just been reinstalling suse 7.1
I tried a minimal installation, but I could not get the graphical yast2 after
boot up. Ok, it was on the Suse Support Database too.
I reinstalled a standard installation, but I am having some problems:
the system does not use /etc/hosts to resolv names (/etc/resolv.conf looks
just like before, I do not know where else I have to look for),
I cant mount and unmount filesystems, but at boot up (it does not unmount
them when switching to runlevel 0 or 6 too, and yast cant mount stuff any
more too.).
All I have done differently from all my other installation is setting up a
/tmp filesystem. Does it hurt so much or I am having some other problem?
Just another question: I downloaded samba 2.2.1a from suse ftp site, but I
cant find it any more? Where is it? I do not have the rpm any more:-/
Thanks in Advance
Praise
