Hello folks!! As always needing your help. ;) I'm trying to replace an Exchange server in Windows NT with a server on SuSE with sendmail. This is the network configuration: Mail server and DNS with SuSE7.2 (machine A), bind 9.1.2 and sendmail 8.11.3 already packaged in SuSE, it's IP is192.168.1.11 , it's behind a CheckPoint firewall (machine B) wich NAT's the mail servers (A) ip to a public ip like 166.114.X.X., firewall (B) is the mail servers's default gateway. There is another local network with windows machines, the network is 192.168.3.X (network C) , the firewall (B) stands between the local network (C) and the mail server (A). (C) uses OutLook Express as its mail client, they have no problems to pick their mails with pop3, and they can successfully send mails to other windows in the local network. But when they try to send mails to another address like yahoo.com or hotmail.com or whatever is out there an error appears: something like RELAY denied. And they can't send it. If i send a mail from the mail server (A) to any address (oxielc@yahoo.it for example) there is no problem, i use kmail on the server, it reaches its destination without problems. All the windows clients (C) has an account on the mail server (A). I changed /etc/mail/access and addedd this line 192.168 RELAY # # # Default for loop back is RELAY 127 RELAY 192.168.1.11 RELAY and changed this on sendmail.cf like these: DSmydomain.com DRmydomain.com DHmydomain.com C{G}mydomain.com DMmydomain.com Cw mydomain.com Thanks in advance.
