Hi folks, i?m working in a MS enviroment (Exchange Server, MS Proxy, PDC, IIS ...) and i want to convert my Win 2k workstation to SuSE 7.1. For MS Word and Excell docs i use StarOffice 5,2, printers and shares with samba. I have to big problems with two inssues: I need a program silimar Outlook to work in a Exchange Server env (public folders, global addresses list ...). I?ve tried to use Netscape using imap, i get and send mail, but no retrive global addresses list. The other big problem is the NTLM authentification. We have a MS Proxy and it validates PDC?users.
Any help will we wellcome!
I can help with the NTLM issue: A MS machine/program will usually give you a 3-box login window - Username - Password - Domain I have found that Linux programs connecting to NTLM authentication gives you a two box login window. Fill that in as follows: Username: <domain>/<username> Password: <password> and you should be authenticated. Hope that helps Arthur
