Hello,
I was the original poster. What I have, is a just purchased , Xpert 128 PCI
16MB card. I have tried the r128 driver, which sax2 wants to use with the
XF_SVGA server....which I gather, is as it's supposed to be.....from reading
info at XFree.org. However, I have seen no specific reference to PCI
versions, only AGP. I don't know if this is significant or not. I also use
a 3D Rage Pro and an Xpert 98 in other machines (w/Linux) and they work OK
with the Mach64 server. The Xpert 98 however, can't use any 3D...pity.
Anyway, the Xpert 128 does not function for me...and I gather for others
either....even though it is supposedly supported by v4.03. I *would*
appreciate your config file, to see what's what. Thanks a lot!
Tom
