Hello Everyone: This is not directly related to SuSe but I thought someone out there might guide me in the right direction. If you want, so the list does not get cluttered with non-SuSe content please send email to me directly. I was surfing and notice on linux.com the following script for bash: Want a clock on the top of your terminal? PROMPT_COMMAND='echo -ne "\0337\033[2;999r\033[1;1H\033[00;44m\033[K"`date`"\033[00m\0338"' Where can I go to learn the syntax for this script, since I am new. I like the idea of having a time and date at the top of the terminal but the script puts a time and date in black and is highlighted in blue. The blue makes it hard to read. I want to learn the syntax being used here so I can change the color coding, to make it easier for me to read. Thanks a head of time for you assistance. Bob Barish
