You should have read Lenz Grimmer's recent post. KDE 2.2.x is _not_ part of
the official upgrade route; it's available as a service to users and comes
with no guarantees. If you want stability stay with the official updates and
patches. In that sense, your advice about waiting is correct. ;-)
