I take it you didn't install any new hardware? Or I guess you'd not be asking? Possibly a BIOS setting? Or the settings of some other bit of hardware. Remember that these AGP port descriptions are really pci 'addresses' aren't they? Other than that, you were probably right. Not really the right people to be asking! All of a sudden X started failing because it said it could find no board at 1:5:0. I changed the BusID field to read 1:0:0 (BUS:DEVICE:FUNCTION) and it started working again.
