Hello,
Hi!
Just wondering. How different are SuSE version 7.1 and 7.2 from each other. And how about 7.0 and 7.2? I'm asking this because a program I would like to install has been tested to work with SuSE 6.0-7.0 and I would just want to be sure it won't mess my system if I try to install it.
Your program will work. The only difference with each
versions are that the latest (7.2) has so-called "up-to-
date" versions of the GCC compiler, Kernel, and various
other "essential" utilities deemed by SuSE :-)
This obviously does not affect the over layout of Linux
(referring to the LSB and FSSH).
