For the geforce3, I'd recommend upgrading to X 4.1.0 (available from
ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/suse/i386/supplementary/X/XFree86/XFree86-4.1.0-SuSE
/suse72/) and the latest Nvidia drivers from
http://www.nvidia.com/view.asp?PAGE=linux (make sure to pick the SuSE
drivers).
As for the Orinoco, support is right out of the box.

however will I be able to install and run under Xwindows on my geforce3 based system? i know acceleration etc are not going to be there without updating the servers or all of XFree86 but will it work? I have looked pretty extensively at the web sites etc and can't decide what the answer is?
Also, I have a Orinoco based wireless network. Does anyone know if the drivers for this are included with suse 7.2? I think only PCMCIA drivers exists and USB clients are currently unsupported in Linux. Again i have searched without much luck for an answer? -- Avi Schwartz avi@CFFtechnologies.com
