coming into this at the tail end of the , er , discussion (?) so this
may be all wrong..
has this individual done the Control center --> suse desktop -->Menu
settings? that page gives you the option to shoose the Suse Menu or the
*regular* Kmenu ... I'm guessing that once on or the other is chosen
it's also reversable i.e. choose the other option next time ... IIRC
