Hi, There is no problem, this is the kernel cpu idle daemon. In other words, these are the cpu idle cycles. If ypu want to get rid of it, rebuild the kernel without 'Make CPU idle calls when idle' (General setup, Power management). Tim On Sat, Sep 15, 2001 at 07:39:56AM -0400, Donnie Linville wrote:
When reading "TOP", I notice that kapm-idled is taking up about 75% CPU.The PID is "3?" and the user is root.Does anyone have any idea how to resolve this problem? Thanks!
