Would someone running Suse 7.1 please send me a copy of the rc.local file. Mine disappeared. Also what is it's address? I beleive it should be /etc/rc.d/rc.local. In my /etc, rc.d shows up as a symbolic link to /init.d. Is that correct?
Being an old Slackware guy, I think the file you're looking for is /etc/init.d/boot.local, which is the equivalent of Slackware's /etc/rc.d/rc.local. init.d is there to comply with the LSB and rc.d is symlinked for people used to the 'old' way. -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com
