Maybe premature but ... 7.3 ?

Hello, everyone.
Well, having been away from not only the list for a few weeks now, but from
the whole IT scene, I am a little out of touch on a couple of things.
I was wondering if anyone knows how close we are to the next SuSE release.
I am reluctant to buy 7.2 right now, since it has been around for too long
now to make it a worthwhile purchase. However, I am very keen to buy the
next version (7.3 or 8.0 ?), but am curious to know how far off it is. I
want to get my 6.3. 7.0 and 7.1 boxes all up to date, but can't justify the
outlay for 7.2 at this time.
Don't flame me, I'm just starved of news.
