I have been running linux for sometime now. I would really like to junk my windows partition. The only reason that stops me is that I have no idea how to play video clips that one can download from the internet. Either the real player of real time sequences.
Well, to watch RealPlayer streams, download RealPlayer (from www.real.com) - there might even be a copy of it somewhere on the SuSE CDs. To watch mpegs, you can use many programs... I think RealPlayer will handle it, as will mtvp and xanim. To watch MS .asf format type stuff, I think mplayer will work (mplayer.sourceforge.net). If you're after QuickTime support, some programs have varying levels of QuickTime support, but I couldn't tell you which ones.
