Hello everybody,
I went away on vacation and got used to an empty
mailbox. :) But I'm back. I hope all you northern
hemisphere people have had a great summer. Right
now where I live it's the most beautiful time of year.
Anythow, I'm wondering if there are any Rogers@home
subscribers there who can give me a quick rundown of
what I need to do to connect. I'm running SuSE 7.1 and
so far I've tried numerous things but none of them work.
rcdhclient start eth0 appears succesful but in fact it isn't
-- can't ping anything but myself. The HOWTO's out
there are RedHat specific and not of much help.
Rogers uses the Terayon Cable Modem and fixed IPs
and hostnames so it should be simple but it ain't
worked so far.
I'm awfully tired but I hope this info is enough.
Best,
Corvin
