I have tried downloading and installing the patches for version 7.2 from the SuSE ftp site using the YAST2 Online Update module. It started off downloading quite well, but went slower and slower. Eventually, after an hour and three quarters I had downloaded 23% of the patches. So I abandoned it and tried two mirror sites, by going into EXPERT in the "choice of installation source" and entering the URL.. But I couldn't connect to either. Does YOU only work with the sites listed in the program, or does it work with any? The manual doesn't say! I have used one of the sites before (ftp.mirror.ac.uk) to download manually, and it was quite fast. I couldn't download the patches manually as the patches folder was empty and I couldn't decide where else to try to find them. If it took all this time to download a few patches, there is no way I can download the updated KDE! I'll stick with the one SuSE supplied until they bring out the next version. I only have a dial-up modem. Many thanks for any advice. Keith
