Can anybody explain why the lsb_release (lsb-0.4.1-41.i386.rpm) package has the following dependencies: rpm -qp --requires lsb-0.4.1-41.i386.rpm acct makedev python gettyps mh The package provides only: rpm -qpl lsb-0.4.1-41.i386.rpm /etc/lsb-release /usr/bin/lsb_release <== shell script /usr/share/man/man1/lsb_release.1.gz After the package has been installed it tells that suse-7.2 is adheres the LSB version: "n/a". Should this be 0.9, perhaps 1.0 I though SuSE was one of the best LSB followers, why such a bad(?) job on this package?? I installed the 3 files manually and it works like a sharm..... -- Richard Bos For those who have no home the journey is endless
