no it should be 755 777 means anyone can write to that directory and run scripts from it and on a web server this would be a bad, very bad, thing. is the images directory in your root web directory or is somewhere else in your file system and symlinked to your root web directory? if it is, then you may need to configure apache to allow symlinks (although i have used symlinks before and never had a problem) On Fri, 7 Sep 2001, Victor R. Check your permisions for the images directory. It should be 777.
