I had emailed the creator of Explore2fs about this, requesting a new version of this program that will handle ReiserFS. Never got an email back.
I must admit, I've fallen in love with Reiser, BUT with no way to access the FS from Windows, it makes me cry sometimes. :o(
I wouldn't cry too hard. Having your entire Linux root partition accessible from Windows, which has the 'escape' backdoor is really insecure. Many years ago, when I dual-booted, I kept a FAT32 partition for shared data and had a symlink to it in my home directory. It's a good thing when your shadow file is inaccessible from Windows. - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.5 (GNU/Linux) Comment: For info see http://www.gnupg.org iD8DBQE7mNhx+FOexA3koIgRAo0VAKCswmhbCiJO8Hazo14w+PpgtGgHpQCfYYG4 L8aNt2JvGItAEl1h1r4RT3w= =bMLn -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
