The /var/log/messages text with the 0911 in is one of the setup files, I think it's in /etc/isdn/something, (I'm not with my machine at the moment). It doesn't alter what number is dialled though which you set in yast V1 or 2; it just alters the /var/log/messages file entry as far as I can tell. Hi,
I have a strange issue with my ISDN parameters: my systems behaves as if it were in Nuernberg (area code 0911) though I never told it and I can not find any setting for this. I can see in /var/log/isdn.log that all calls are recorded as if I had 0911. I mean I can understand that it defaults to Nuernberg/Germany but there should be a way to turn this to my place (Erlangen ~09131) !! :-). I am using SuSE 7.2, I4L, FritzCard PCI, Arcor ISDN. Could this be an Arcor problem? If I phone someone, this person is shown the correct number. It's only in the computer that it is recording the wrong way. Any guess??
