anyone know of a program that will let me page through a multi page tiff file?
Hi Peter,
Image Magick will do it, but I find this very slow. I use tiffsplit.
I have a /tmp/tif folder where I drop the file I want to view. Then in konqueror with the file selected I hit ctrl+e then write infront of it I write tiffsplit and hey presto the file is spit into multiple pages.
See man tiffsplit for more information on this simple command.
Another program that works I think is xv, but you'll have to check that yourself.
Good luck.
Jethro
XV works fine for this... (although I had to print out the 140+ page doc to find out how) When viewing the multi-page tif file, click first on the image (to make sure it has the focus) and then press pg-up or pg-dn to move between pages. xv is a nice program....... -- +----------------------------------------------------------------------------+ + Bruce S.
