I have two computers on a local subnet 10.1.1.200 - computer1 "this is a server with barely a monitor" 10.1.1.201 - dev1 "this is my computer with a big graphic screen that I want to access computer1 from" I tried from computer1 issuing the command: xhost +dev1 and from dev1: xhost +computer1 (not sure if I needed both) Then, when I ssh into computer1 from dev1, and in that remote session do a DISPLAY=dev1:0.0 xclock I get the clock on my local screen just like I expect. How can I run a full kde session (startx like) on my dev1 system? are there any limitations to this? I'm thinking after I get this working I can stick the server (computer1) in a closet and still use the nice admin stuff from SUSE. (by the way, both are SUSE 7.2) Thanks, -Peter
