Hi, SuSE 7.1 should recognize your windows partition after reinstall so you can boot Win2k. You could also put your existing lilo.conf on a floppy for a backup, so you use it if something goes wrong. Regards, Jostein

What if I boot from the SuSE installation CD and reinstall it from scratch (obviously using the same disk partitions existing already)? Im not loosing the choice of booting my W2K after that instalation, right?

What should I do? make the lilo in a floppy during instalation so it will not overwrite the existing one in my hdd? will that work?
