Hi
About password length.. I remeber that You can find it in zast-sysadmin-"security-login something"... There is a variable that says
how
long a password can be.

Hi,
I got some question about X server and password length
Due to some reason, I am unable install my SuSE 6.4 using graphical
mode,
so I use the text mode installation. That is fine with me as well since
my
video card is ASUS V7700 GeForce 2, therefor I need to download the latest X server from XFree86 anyway. My question now is after I config my X server correctly how do I start my X server at boot time. Which file I should
add
the "startx" command or I can use YaST to do the job for me ?
Second how do I increase my password length so it is longer than 8 character ? I think when I first install my SuSE 6.4 with X server correctly install (with a older video cheap GeForce 256) it allow me to have password longer than 8 characters.
Thank you for your help
