Hi All, I don't know if this is the right forum for this question, but please point me in the right direction if not. I am running SuSE 7.1 Pro with Kernel 2.4.2-64GB-SMP, KDE 2.1.1, gftp-2.0.8-2 and gtk-1.2.8-90 all from SuSE rpms. When using gftp to download directories with lots of small files in I frequently get problems with the connection stalling and the only way to get it started again is to kill gftp and restart. On a less frequent basis, but still annoyingly common, gftp just drops out with a Seg Fault. "/opt/gnome/bin/gftp: line 9 29121 Segmentation fault /opt/gnome/bin/gftp-gtk $@" Has anyone else had similar problems? Does anyone know a fix? Or a better ftp client that will cope with multiple whole directories? I have tried using plain ftp but it is such a pain to have to descend into each of many directories then use mget. I did think of using Konqueror, but AFAIK it only does anonymous login, which doesn't work with the server I need to access - I need to specify a username and password. Any help gratefully received - TIA. Mark
