In both cases yast2 hangs in text mode. Suse "support" has not replied to my msg about this.
Clues ? Video card problem ?
just a suspicion : Check "Scroll Lock" and try pressing "Ctrl q", when YaST hangs. I have seen it in more than one case that this was the cause for an alleged "crash" (i.e. that it was no crash at all). Have a nice day, Ruediger
