anytime. one thing that it seems imperative you find out is the bios
level and, if it's not the latest, make sure that it has *never* had
a password applied to the system itself; unlike some machines
(thinkpads, for instance) there seems to be no way, even an
inconvenient one, for the user to reset a forgotten password.
