because the reiserfs module isn't loaded. Why would you want to change to boot disk that comes with the distro? reiserfs is loaded as a module into the initial ramdisk before /root is mounted after the installation is finalised.
Well, what if: A) the system to upgrade is on a reiserfs partition? B) Better yet, what if I want to install SuSE 7.2 FROM a hard disk partition (one of the options as an installation source, along with FTP, CD, etc.) which is in reiserfs format? Best regards, Afonso Infante.
