O.K., I too am having a problem. I have loaded the gameport, input, and analog modules. jstest, however, says No Such Device for /dev/js0, /dev/js1, /dev/input/js0, and /dev/input/js1.
Any advice? The joystick is a CH Fighterstick hooked up to a SB PCI 128. Thanks.
Did ya edit your modules.conf file as per instructions in manual? There's a sequence for the Live cards with a pre-install and post-install sequence. It's in the configuration manula under sound cards/joysticks. I use a Sound Blaster Live X-Gamer here, I get the same whenever I try to use the joystick port on the card. I suspect it's an issue with the PCI interface for the game adapter. I seem to recall another user on this list with this same problem as well. Does this joystick have a USB adapter? If so I've heard good things regarding USB joystick connections... Ambrosius - -- ¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿¿ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ???????????????????????????????
