Problems with kde2 screensavers.......

I can configure and test the screensavers but they
don't work when they are started....
When the screensaver starts the screen just freezes,
no visible screensaver.....
I'm using:
-SuSE 7.2 Dutch Professinal version (no updates)
-Voodoo III 2000 PCI
