Simplest solution: boot from the cd. type 'manual' at the 'boot:' prompt, choose start installation->boot rescue system. After bootup, type 'root' as login, there shouldn't be a password. mkdir tmp mount /dev/your_root_partition tmp chroot tmp passwd and enter a new password for root remove the cd and reboot, and you should be ok Regards Anders On Saturday 07 July 2001 09:09, Jeff Tanner wrote:
