you have to install package with tftpd in it whichever that may be and i suggest also the ftpdir.rpm for the directory structure. proftpd is a far better server.

I've newly installed SuSE 7.2 Professional using the default
installation. I want to setup the tftp server for a limited test
with a computer. I enabled the software in /etc/inetd.conf as follows:

tftp dgram udp wait root /usr/sbin/tcpd in.tftpd
-s /tftpboot

However, the /usr/bin/in.tftpd executable is missing in /usr/bin.

Reading /usr/share/doc/packages/tcpd indicates this is all I
have to do.

Do I have to install in.tftpd from another network rpm. And if so,
how would I locate it? I'm assuming something is being overlooked.
Any ideas?
