Outlook does not have good press in the free software world, using
incompatible or undocumented formats, implementing standards poorly or in
a way to confuse inter-operability, and offering a lot of unclever chrome.
I would think that on Linux, `mutt' is a decent MIME reader. If you really
have the need of handling a lot of email, `Gnus' might still be your best
choice, despite its engine is big and require some learning. :-)
