What does a setserial reveal about the ports ttyS0-ttyS3 ??
I ask because that modem MAY be a "WinModem"...
I'm hazey about the syntax but it's something like setserial -G /dev/ttyS0
if that reveals the modem is indeed there then it should be easy to
configure using yast/wvdial.
