I just installed this with no errors. I am curious why it would bitch at you about libhd.so.2 because I don't have it on my system at all. I have libhd.so.1 and my hwinfo version is hwinfo-1.81-0.
This is truely strange behavior.
Maybe someone who actually works at SuSE could shed some light on this.
At first I thought the problem had to do with my using a slightly older
version. But here's a transcript:
-----------
suillus:/usr/local/packages/X4.1.0 # rpm -Uhv sax2-4.3-77.i386.rpm
error: failed dependencies:
perl-Tk is needed by sax2-4.3-77
libhd.so.2 is needed by sax2-4.3-77
suillus:/usr/local/packages/X4.1.0 # rpm -qip sax2-4.3-77.i386.rpm
