hi steven,

well... that happened to mee to, and it only happens (at least for me) when
changing the decoration of the windows to liquid.
to get rid of it, edir ~/.kde2/share/config/kwinrc and delete the [Style] section (there is only one
entry in this section...)
after that kde comes up fine again .....

the rest of the liquid style works so far ....
[just missing semitransparent window-titles and flashing default buttons like in aqua....;)]
