I am still having trouble with X CD Roast. I will give as much details as I can. I did lookin into the SuSE supportdatabase, but I don't think what they have will help me.
I am using a HP 9500 Series 12x8x32 Internal IDE CD-RW.
I am getting two error messages using version 0.96ex. -'No Generic-SCSI-Support has been detected. WIthout it no SCSI-Devices can be detected or used by X-CD-Roast. Please load the sg-modlue (eg "insmode sg") or recompile your Kernal with generic-SCSI-support.'
Put : modprobe sg modprobe ide-scsi in /etc/init.d/boot.local
-'Configuration file xcdroast.conf not found.' Please enter setup.
I think it does detect my burner, it is listed as WDC WD307AA-OOBAA0 10.09K11
And under the CD Setup tab, I cannot select a CD Writer device.
