Weird Java

I have decided thus:
I hate Java and it hates me. with Mozilla, after installing jre.xpi as
root it only ever works through a command line.
Weird issue two: Konqueror, which package does it like for jre?
It hates me because I dropped learning Java and took c++ instead...
