guy- hey, don't be sorry, getting dhcpcd working seems to be pretty tough. i have to use it to connect to my cable service. the scripts that are invoked by yast don't work. i think i read the man page a dozen times before i got that far without falling asleep... good luck larry Guy Van Sanden wrote:
Thanks!
It was getting rather late last night when I was working on this, I went trough the mailing lists, google and the howto's... but I forgot the man pages, which would normally have been my first place to look.
Sorry
Guy

Hello
Does anyone know how I can prevent dhcpcd from overwriting my resolv.conf (/etc/) file?
It should point to my internal DNS server, which relays external queries to the outside world.
Thanks!
Guy
