I've just converted a couple of old Red Hat boxen to SuSE 7.1 (hooray!)
Having set up the first one how I wanted both to be, I saved the config to floppy in YaST, with the intention of using this to replicate to config on the second box, but when I try to load the config from floppy on the second, it says that there are no configurations on it.
A wonderful feature of YaST 1.09.3 ! I asked this question a couple of times on this list with no response at all. I decided nobody cares. This time I'll CC: to feedback@suse.com. Maybe it will attract some attention of SuSE developers.
The floppy type is right (minix) and the floppy device is also right (/dev/fd0) I can mount and read the .sel file with no problem
That's correct.
Copying the file to /var/lib/YaST doesn't help either, it doesn't appear in the list...
YaST just ignores it.
Can anyone help?
