The use of an application depends mostly of the taste
of the user, but as a newbie I may ask opinion about
which to try first.

If am not wrong there must be several under KDE
(including netscape and some other), which one should
I try first that allowme to:

Use a POP account
Check for message every X minutes
Import address book from outlook or any other format
Add a signature file to my outgoing messages
Showme attached files in the email itself
