Ya, I had the same problem with the screensavers. Just for kicks you did install the version 0.9-769nv_glx drivers from the nVidia site? I think that's what fixed my problem, but not sure - I'll look into it to see if I can remember how that was fixed. For UT, on the nVidia site for the Linux drivers there's a readme/setup how to with some export commands 'export NVIDIA_FSAA_QUALIY="0"'- something like that is used to turn on fsaa. I did it and the player models and maps looked great with no hit to the fps. You can get UT to run very nice. P.S. I hate spawn campers - when I find one I hunt them relentlessly ;) -----Original Message----- From: Chris.Smith@raytheon.co.uk [mailto:Chris.Smith@raytheon.co.uk] Sent: Friday, April 27, 2001 0701 To: suse-linux-e@suse.com Subject: [SLE] Nvidia GLX, segfaults and MS ISA server Hi, I'm having problems with Nvidia drivers/GLX under SuSE 7.1. The inevitable GLX gears demo works at a couple of thousand fps, but the KDE 2 (as supplied on DVD - no updates) GL based screensavers all segfault. I havent tried anything else yet, but that is a sticking point. FYI, I'm running:- Intel P3 Genuine Intel i815EP motherboard Elsa GF2 Ultra card SuSE 7.1 Kernel 2.2.18 as supplied Installed manually, not via YaST2. Anyone got any clues? As a secondary point, I'm stuck behind a Microsoft ISA Server 2000 `firewall' (tee hee ;). Does anyone know how to add a routing policy for SecureNAT clients?
